HAPPY NEW YEAR TO EVERYONE.

I am looking forward to this year! There is a lot going on. This year is all about growth and with the groundwork laid there should be plenty of that! I aim to be out playing as much as possible this year and would love to grow and welcome new followers of my music! I am already working on new material and have started playing with some great musicians to make it happen. WORKING HARD WITH NEW BAND

As you are aware I am working hard with a new bunch of great musicians gearing up for some great live performances this year! As promised in the last edition, let me proudly introduce the gang:

Drums - John Davis

John has been drumming for15 +years specialising in Rock and Metal! Having attended a few Jams at the Enler Delta Blues Club and other Jam sessions throughout Northern Ireland he has decided to dive into playing more giving me the lucky opportunity to join forces!

Bass- Norman May

A solid structured Bass player having worked in cover bands throughout Northern Ireland. Norman was a previous student of mine in which have become fast friends. With such an interest in music sand genuinely taking an interest in my music in particular I have managed to talk him into taking on the Management to help with admin and organisation (not a skill of mine), therefore it gives me great pleasure to have him jump on the Bass to form a structured rhythm section of the band.

Rhythm Guitar - Niall Greer

A lucky find in the way of Guitarists as Niall is an extremely talented player having been playing for 20 + years. Niall focuses on the complex world of Jazz guitar and funk/Bee bop blues, With the 2 contrasting styles of myself and Niall working together, it creates an exciting mix to spice up the sound of what I do, lending the opportunity to bring harmony and life to the live sound making it feel more layered as in the recording. Niall is also working on Solo material and aims to bring some jazz classics to life with his impressive skills and I recommend following him! You'll not be disappointed! LOOKING FORWARD TO GETTING BACK TO TEACHING FOR THE NEW TERM!

With schools back this month, I am excited to get back at it with the individual guitar lessons, School Jam groups and helping the GCSE and A level students on their performance and compositions.I would also like to send my very best wishes to all my students this year who reached that level in which I am longer needed and have now continued to the next stage it in their journey to become talented musicians! I would like to say I am extremely proud of all the hard work each of you put into your lessons which made it a pleasure and extremely easy to teach you all! I truly wish all the very best in the future and Good luck into the new Year!
